The Graduate School consists of the Department of Architecture, the Department of Modern Mechanical Engineering, the Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering, the Department of Business Design & Management, the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Earth Sciences, Resources and Environmental Engineering. The Graduate School aims to educate scientists and engineers who can develop technologies that address the most pressing scientific and technological problems of today’s world.The Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering focuses on the traditional areas of natural science as well as on applications of fundamental research. The Graduate School consists of the Department of Pure and Applied Physics, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the Department of Applied Chemistry, the Department of Life Science and Medical Bioscience, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Bioscience, the Department of Integrative Bioscience and Biomedical Engineering, the Department of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering, Cooperative Major in Advanced Biomedical Sciences, Cooperative Major in Advanced Health Science the Cooperative Major in Nuclear Energy and the Department of Advanced Science and Engineering.
